Day 01 : Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Kaziranga (240km/5hrs)
We will pick you up from the Guwahati international airport and the take you straightly towards Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park is a world heritage site stituated in Golaghat district of Assam. It is famous for the one horned rhinoceros and a wide range of wildlife. It has a vast area of 430 square kilometers which is home to many animals and birds. If we reach early, we will take you to a jeep safari of the national park. The stay will be at Kaziranga.
Day 02 :Kaziranga Sightseeing (80km/8hrs)
We will take you to the spot of elephant safari inside the national park in the early morning. In this safari, you can have a closer view of the park from the back of an elephant. After that we will show you some notable places around Kaziranga like tea gardens, orchid gardens, hilly streams, Assamese villages and Karbi ethnic village models. Again in the afternoon, we will take you for another jeep safari of the national park. You will be staying at the same place.
Day 03 :Kaziranga to Majuli (135km/4hrs)
After breakfast we will set out for the river island Majuli. Majuli was declared as the first island district of India. Situated in the heart of mighty Brahmaputra, this island has an area of 1250 square kilometers. If you are interested, we can also arrange a meeting with Padma Shri Jadav Payeng on the way (given that i. Mr. Payeng is available & ii. you let us know about your interest in the morning). Mr. Payeng a.k.a. “The forest man of India” created a forest of 1350 acres from a barren wasteland with his own hands. After reaching Majuli, we will take you out for local sightseeing. We will stay there.
Day 04 : Majuli Sightseeing (80km/7hrs)
You must know that Majuli is just an island in the Brahmaputra, but it is so large that you will hardly believe that you in the middle of a river! The prime attractions of this place are the Vaishnavite culture of Hinduism and its institutions or monasteries, the tribal villages, the cycle trips around the island etc. Also note here that people from across the world come to visit Majuli, to witness its culture and heritage, and eventually they fall in love with the place so much that and stay there for months. You will stay at the same place in Majuli.
Day 05 : Majuli to Guwahati (375km/9hrs)
After completing sightseeing of Majuli, we will take you to Guwahati. Guwahati is largest and most populated city in northeast and is also called as the gateway to the northeastern India. After reaching there, we will take you for the river cruises of Brahmaputra in evening. The stay will be at Guwahati.
Day 06 : Guwahati Sightseeing (100km/8hrs)
This day would be a complete sightseeing day of Guwahati. Prime tourists attractions in Guwahati are Kamakhya temple in Nilachal hill, which is one of the ancient temples of India, Umananda temple situated in the Umananda island in the Brahmaputra (Note that Umananda is the smallest river island in the world), the Haigreev Madhav temple, the Balaji temple, Deepor Beel (a freshwater lake and bird sanctuary) , Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, Assam State museum, Assam state zoological and botanical garden, and the river cruises of the river Brahmaputra. The stay will be at Guwahati.
Day 07 : Guwahati Sightseeing, Airport Drop (100km/7hrs)
We will take you out for the remaining sightseeing of Guwahati. After that, we will drop you at the airport at the required time.
