Day 01 : Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Shillong (100km/4hrs)

We are going to pick you up from Guwahati airport at the said time. Then we will take you directly to Shillong. Shillong is a beautiful hill station located in the northeaster state of Meghalaya. The beautiful Umiam Lake falls on the route to Shillong. We will stop by and enjoy the view of the lake for some time. Then we will continue towards Shillong city. On reaching Shillong, if there is plenty of time available with us, we can go out for sightseeing of the city. If not, don’t worry, as next day would be a complete sightseeing day in Shillong. You will be staying at Shillong.

Day 02 : Shillong Sightseeing (80km/8hrs)

We will take you out for the sightseeing of the city. The beautiful city known for its weather has many attractive destinations. The Golf course, the Shillong Peak, Wards Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Don Bosco museum etc are the beautiful places to see in and around the city. We will complete all sightseeing by the evening of the day. Your stay will be at the same place.

Day 03 : Shillong to Mawlynnong & Dawki Sightseeing, Mawlynnong to Cherrapunji (245km/9hrs)

Shillong to Mawlynnong & Dawki Sightseeing, Mawlynnong to Cherrapunji Next morning, we will start towards Mawlynnong – the cleanest village in Asia. As the title says, this village is worth watching for its cleanliness and a living root bridge. After that, we will move 20 kilometres south to Dawki, a small border town in India – Bangladesh border. It is famous for the Dawki Bridge over Umngot River and boating on that river. After finishing the places in Dawki, we will start towards Cherrapunji. You will stay there for the night.

Day 04 : Cherrapunji Sightseeing (60km/7hrs)

It will be a sightseeing day in Cherrapunji. Cherrapunji is a beautiful place surrounded by clouds and the Khasi hills. The rainfall in Cherrapunji is very high throughout the year and this makes it a prime tourist attraction for people across the globe. The places to check out in Cherrapunji are the Mawsmai caves, the Nohkalikai falls, the Seven Sisters falls, and a few living root bridges. Your stay will be at Cherrapunji. Next day we will head towards Kaziranga.

Day 05 : Cherrapunji to Kaziranga (370km/9hrs)

We will start our journey towards Kaziranga in the morning. Kaziranga National Park is a World heritage site situated in the state of Assam. Famous for the one horned rhinoceros, available only in Assam and other wildlife species and migratory birds from all over the world, it is very popular among tourists from different parts of the world. After reaching Kaziranga, we will show you the local sightseeing places in the evening. You will stay at Kaziranga.

Day 06 : Kaziranga Sightseeing (80km/8hrs)

Next early morning, we will take you to Elephant safari of Kaziranga National Park. There you can enjoy the one horned rhinoceros and other wildlife from close proximity. After that we will take you out for the local sightseeing of Kaziranga like the orchid garden, the teagardens of Assam, local villages, ethnic villages etc. In the afternoon, we will take you for Jeep safari of Kaziranga National Park in any of the range of your choice. The night’s stay will be at the same place. Also, do not forget to enjoy the delicious Assamese fish curries during the stay.

Day 07 : Kaziranga to Majuli, Majuli Sightseeing (170km/8hrs)

Next morning, we will head towards Majuli. Situated on the river Brahmaputra, Majuli is the largest river island on the planet. With an area of around 1250 square kilometres, it is also the only river island district of India. People from different parts of the globe come to visit Majuli, fall in love with the place and then stay there for many days. The island has a population of 150,000 people. The prime attractions of this place are the Vaishnavite culture of Hinduism and its institutions/monasteries, the tribal villages, the cycle trips around the island etc. If you are interested, you can also meet the Forest Man of India Mr. Jadav Payeng (depending on the availability), who is famous for creating a forest from a wasteland of 1,360 acres just by planting trees over many decades. You will stay at Majuli for the night.

Day 08 : Majuli to Nameri (255km/7hrs)

We will start our journey towards Nameri in the morning. Nameri is also a national park in Assam, famous for jungle trekking and river rafting on Jia Bhoroli River. After reaching Nameri National Park, we will assist you to the point of jungle trekking inside the national park. After finishing the trekking, we will then take you to the starting point of the river rafting, which will take around three hours to complete. We will wait for you at the end point. Your stay will be at Nameri.

Day 09 : Nameri to Dirang (160km/6hrs)

We will start towards Dirang valley, which is a beautiful valley situated in the foothills of the Himalayan ranges. The main attractions of this valley are the beautiful Indian sub-continental birds of Himalayan ranges, the Dirang monastery, Dirang Dzong, famous for its architectures and tribal areas, a Kiwi garden, a Tibetan village and a mill running on hydropower. You will be staying at Dirang.

Day 10 : Dirang to Tawang (145km/7hrs)

We will start our journey towards Tawang. On the way to Tawang we will get a hot water spring. We will stop at Vaisakhi. Before reaching Tawang we will get the Sela Pass, the Paradise Lake, and Jaswantgarh War Memorial. We will show you all these places. Then, we will show you the Nuranang waterfalls on the route before reaching Tawang. After reaching Tawang, we will show you the local sightseeing places of Tawang. The notable local places to see in Tawang are the Tawang monastery which is Asia’s second largest monastery, the Craft centre, the Emporium, Apple garden, the Sixth Dalai Lama birthplace, Tawang War Memorial and Nun monastery. Nun monastery can be also visited through a rope way. You will stay at Tawang.

Day 11 : Around Tawang Sightseeing (150km/7hrs)

Next day, we will take you out for the local sightseeing destinations of Tawang. The places to see around are The Heart Lake, Sangester Lake, the Nagula Lake, the PTSO Lake, Y Junction, and Bum La pass (situated at the India – China border). Please NOTE that to visit Bum La Pass you need to plan a three day stay at Tawang, because the visiting pass for Bum La pass cannot be obtained within in a day. You will be staying at the same place in Tawang.

Day 12 : Tawang to Bomdila (185km/8hrs)

We will start heading back towards Bomdila. Bomdila is town that falls on the route to Tawang. Bomdila has a beautiful monastery. It also has a beautiful market crowded by tourists, where you can shop your souvenirs and enjoy the local culture. You will stay at Bomdila.

Day 13 :Bomdila to Guwahati (350km/8hrs)

We will start towards Guwahati in the morning. After reaching Guwahati, we will show you all the sightseeing places of Guwahati. Guwahati (Dispur) is the capital city of Assam and is also called the Gateway of northeast. The places to see around Guwahati are the Kamakhya temple, the Brahmaputra River, the cruises on the Brahmaputra, the Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra, and the smallest river island in the world – Umananda etc. You will be staying at Guwahati.

Day 14 : Guwahati Sightseeing, Airport Drop (100km/7hrs)

We will continue the sightseeing of the city in the morning. After finishing all possible sightseeing destinations in and around the Guwahati city, we will take you to the airport at the said time to drop you there.
