Day 01 : Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Shillong (100km/4hrs)
We will pick you up at the Guwahati International Airport. Then we will take you directly to Shillong, known as “Scotland of the East” where we will stay for the night. On the way to Shillong, we will stop at Umiam Lake to enjoy the view, and then we will continue towards Shillong. Soon
Day 02 : Shillong to Mawlynnong & Dawki Sightseeing, Mawlynnong to Cherrapunji (245km/9hrs)
At the morning we will head out towards Mawlynnong. Mawlynnong is the cleanest village in Asia. Known for its cleanliness and a living root bridge; tourists from all over the world flow into this little village every year. Next we will move to Dawki, a border town in the India – Bangladesh border. Dawki has a suspension bridge built by British in 1932. This bridge is over a river called Umngot. The Umngot River is also famous for boating. After that, we will go to Cherrapunji. The stay will be at Cherrapunji.
Day 03 : Cherrapunji Sightseeing (60km/7hrs)
We will see all the sightseeing locations of Cherrapunji. Cherrapunji is a beautiful place and also known as the wettest place on the Earth. It witnesses a heavy amount of rainfall throughout the year. Along with the drizzling rains at all the time, it also has some beautiful places to see. Seven Sisters falls, the Nohkalikai falls are two beautiful waterfalls located in Cherrapunji. Cherrapunji is also famous for Mawsmai caves and a few living root bridges among which double Decker Root Bridge is famous. A root bridge is a bridge over a stream constructed naturally by the roots of trees over a long period of time. For the night, we will stay at Cherrapunji.
Day 04 : Cherrapunji to Kaziranga (370km/9hrs)
At the morning we will head towards Kaziranga National park, famous for the one horned rhinoceros. After reaching Kaziranga, we will show you the local sightseeing places in the evening. We will stay at Kaziranga.
Day 05 : Kaziranga Sightseeing (80km/8hrs)
In the morning, we will take you to the place of elephant safari inside Kaziranga National Park. Elephant safaris are scheduled only in the early morning, and are the best way to view wildlife from close proximity. After that, we will take you to local sightseeing around Kaziranga. The local places like the orchid garden, ethnic village, local Assamese village, And Assamese Tea Garden are famous notable sightseeing locations. In the afternoon we will arrange you a jeep safari of Kaziranga in any of the range of your choice. We will finish all sightseeing by the end of the day. The stay will be at Kaziranga.
Day 06 : Kaziranga to Dirang (280km/9hrs)
We will head towards Dirang valley, situated in the foothills of Himalayan ranges. It is a beautiful valley famous for its architectures and tribal areas, Dirang monastery, Dirang Dzong, a mill running on hydropower, a Kiwi garden and a Tibetan village. Your will be staying at Dirang.
Day 07 :Dirang to Tawang (145km/7hrs)
In the morning we will take you towards Tawang. On the way to Tawang, just after crossing Dirang we will get a hot water. We will stop at. Then will the Sela Pass at an elevation of approxmately 13700 feet. We will show you the sightseeing locations around Sela Pass like the Paradise Lake / Sela Lake, Jaswantgarh War Memorial etc. Then we will take you to Nuranang waterfalls. After reaching Tawang, we will show you the local places of Tawang. The Tawang monastery, which is Asia’s 2nd largest monastery, the Tawang War memorial, the craft centre, the emporium, apple garden, Nun monastery and the Sixth Dalai Lama birthplace are notable local sightseeing places. You will stay at Tawang.
Day 08 : Around Tawang Sightseeing (150km/7hrs)
We will take you to the sightseeing destinations around and nearby Tawang. Places like the Heart Lake, the PTSO Lake, Nagula Lake, Sangester Lake Y Junction, and Bum La Pass (at the border of India – China) are within Tawang. So, it will take a day to visit all the places around Tawang. Also please note that, in order to visit the Bum La Pass you need to plan a three day stay at Tawang, because the visiting pass for Bum La Pass cannot be obtained within in a day. Your stay for the night will be at Tawang.
Day 09 : Tawang to Bomdila (185km/8hrs)
After fishing all the sightseeing places in Tawang in the morning, we will come back to Bomdila which falls on the route to Tawang. Bomdila is a beautiful town in the Himalayan valley which has a beautiful monastery to see. The Bomdila market is also famous to the tourists. You will stay at Bomdila.
Day 10 : Bomdila to Guwahati (350km/8hrs)
From Bomdila we will head towards Guwahati in the morning. After reaching there, we will show you the famous places of Guwahati like the Kamalhya temple, the Brahmaputra river, Umananda, which is the smallest river island in the world, Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra and river cruises on the mighty Brahmaputra. The stay will be at Guwahati.
Day 11 : Guwahati Sightseeing, Airport Drop (100km/7hrs)
