Day 01 : Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Nameri (240km/5hrs)
We will pick you up at the Guwahati International airport at the said time. Our first destination would be Nameri. It is a national park in Assam located around 240 kilometres from Guwahati. After reaching Nameri, we will take you out for the adventure activities for which Nameri is very famous among the tourists. At first we will take you to wildlife trekking inside the jungle. Namer has a number of wildlife species. After enjoying the trekking, you will be taken to the river rafting spot on the Jia Bhoroli River. After completing all the activities you will stay at Nameri for the night.
Day 02 : Nameri to Dirang (160Km/6hrs)
We will set for Dirang in the morning. Dirang is a Himalayan foothill valley of Arunachal Pradesh. It is famous for birding. The prime tourist attractions in the valley are the Tibetan villages and the culture and architectures of the villages, Dirang – Dzong, an old electricity generating mill etc. The stay for the night will be Dirang
Day 03 : Dirang to Tawang (145Km/7hrs)
On this day we will set off to Tawang. On the way to Tawang, in the outskirts of Dirang there is a beautiful hot water spring. We will show you the spring and then continue towards Tawang. We will also get to see many attractive places on our way. The Sela Pass situated at a height of 13700 feet, the Paradise Lake or the Sela Lake near the Sela Pass and the War Memorial of Jaswantgarh are some of the beautiful sightseeing spots that fall on the way to Tawang. Before reaching Tawang, you will also get to see the beautiful Nuranang waterfalls. After reaching Tawang, we will take you out for sightseeing of the local places of Tawang. We will show you the places like the second largest monastery in Asia, the Tawang Monastery, the Sixth Dalai Lama birthplace, the Nun monastery (which is also accessible by a rope way), the Craft centre, the Emporium, Apple garden, and Tawang War Memorial. Your stay will be at Tawang.
Day 04 : Tawang Sightseeing (70km/6hrs)
We will go out for the sightseeing places in the locality of Tawang. We will show you the Tawang monastery (which is Asia’s second largest monastery), the Sixth Dalai Lama birthplace, Nun monastery (which is also accessible by a rope way), emporium, apple orchards, craft centre etc. The stay will at the same place in Tawang.
Day 05 : Around Tawang Sightseeing (150km/7hrs)
On this day we will take you out for the sightseeing of places around Tawang (which are not within the locality). We take you the places like the India and China border at Bum La Pass, the Heart Lake, the Sangester Lake, the Nagula Lake, PTSO Lake and the Y Junction. Please note that if you are planning to visit the international border at Bum La Pass, then you must choose one of our itineraries which have at least 3 days stay at Tawang. This is because we have to get visiting pass for Bum La Pass border, which cannot be obtained within a day. You will be staying at the same place in Tawang.
Day 06 : Tawang to Bomdila (185Km/8hrs)
We will head back towards Bomdila from Tawang. Bomdila is a beautiful town also stituated in the valley of Himalayan foothills and nearby the town there lies the famous Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary, known for birding in the world. Bomdila’s prime tourist attractions are the Bomdila monastery, Bomdila market, Bomdila view point, and of course the Himalayan birds for birders. Your stay for the night will be at Bomdila.
Day 07 : Bomdila to Kaziranga, Tezpur Sightseeing (240Km/7hrs)
From Bomdila, our next destination would be Kaziranga – the world heritage site. We will start our journey in the morning. We will stop by at Tezpur. Tezpur is a city in the north bank of Brahmaputra, famous for ancient history and Lord Shiva temples. For its vivid cultures and people, it is also known as the cultural city of Assam. After reaching there we will visit the beautiful sightseeing places of this city. The notable places are the Agnigarh, the Lord Shiva temples, the Ghats of Brahmaputra, and the city parks. We will then continue towards Kaziranga. Your stay will be at Kaziranga.
Day 08 : Kaziranga Sightseeing (80Km/8hrs)
In the early morning, we will take you to the elephant safari of the Kaziranga national park. You will get to enjoy the views of Kaziranga from the back of an elephant. After that you will take you out for the beautiful local sightseeing places of Kaziranga. Those are the ethnic village models, the orchid garden, tea gardens, Assamese village. In the meantime, you will also have a taste of Assamese cuisine including the delicious fish curries. After that, we will take you to jeep safari of the park in the afternoon. We will complete all the sightseeing by the evening. You will stay there for the night.
Day 09 : Kaziranga to Shillong (280km/7hrs)
We will head out to Shillong on this day. Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya and a beautiful hill station. It is famous for its weather with the sprinkling rains. The places to check out in Shillong are the Umiam Lake, Wards Lake, Elephant falls, Bishop and Beadon falls, Shillog Peak, Don Bosco museum and Lady Hydari Park. The stay for the night will be at Shillong.
Day 10 : Shillong & Cherrapunji Sightseeinhg (170km/9hrs)
On this day we will start towards Cherrapunji. On the way to Cherrapunji, we will show you the Shillong Peak and the Elephant falls. After reaching Cherrapunji – the wettest place on Earth, will will show you the places like Mawsmai caves, the Seven Sisters falls, and Nohkalikai falls. We will return to Shillong to stay there for the night.
Day 11 : Shillong to Guwahati, Airport Drop (100km/4hrs)
We will take you to Guwahati. If there is plenty of time in our hand, we will show you some notable local places in Guwahati like the Kamakhya temple or the Srimanta Sankardeva Kalashetra or the Brahmaputra cruises and Umananda temple or Deepor Bil. Then, we will drop you off at the airport at the required time. And thus your paradise northeast trip will end here.
