Day 01 : Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Nameri (240Km/5hrs)

We will pick you up from Guwahati Airport (in the early morning) and we will move towards Nameri, which offers some pristine patches of forest where you can explore on foot, old giant trees, a beautiful Himalayan river, Jia Bhoroli, and a resident population of elephants. After travelling through these beautiful roads for about 5 hours, we will check in at the hotel/resort in Nameri for a peaceful night’s stay amidst the serene forest areas. You can go out for an optional trekking in the forest in the next morning. NOTE: If you’re interested in rafting, we’d suggest you to arrive early and go for rafting on this day, so that you will not have to reach Dirang at night on the next day.

Day 02 : Nameri to Dirang (180Km/7hrs)

Early morning, you can go to Nameri National Park, which is optional. Go bird watching and spot them in their vicinity, with more than 300 species of birds which also shelters rare and endangered “White Winged Wood Duck” also catch tiger in action as Nameri tiger reserve is under Project Tiger, it also homes wide verity of reptiles, fishes and mammals. Post breakfast, for adventure seekers and offbeat travelers, they can go for an optional rafting in Jia Bhoroli River (smooth water rafting). Note that these activities are optional, and in order to cover the transfer time, only one of the two activities is possible. After finishing the activity, will drive uphill to Dirang, entering Arunachal Pradesh. The place greets you with breathtaking valleys, misty rivers and stunning waterfall. After this enjoyable and memorable tour, we will check-in to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay. NOTE: Nameri national park is officially open from November through April. Trekking is available is open season. Rafting is available depending on the water level of Jia Bhoroli River.

Day 03 : Sangti valley and Mandala top sightseeing (80Km/8hrs)

After Breakfast, we will check out from hotel and we will take you to sightseeing of the valley. This beautiful valley is surrounded hills covered with fruit orchards. After that, we will start our journey towards Tawang. It is perched on a vast slope of Himalayan mountainside. After light meal we are back on the way to one of the highest motor able Pass of northeast India- the Sela Pass (13700 ft.). The approach to Sela is usually marked by fog and hilly imperfect roads. En-route we will also cover Nuranang waterfalls and Jaswant Garh War Memorial. Tawang is an ideal place to go for walks especially around the villages spread on the hill side below the main town. It has mostly been remembered in times of war (1962 Indo Chinese war). Overnight at Tawang.

Day 04 : Dirang to Tawang (150Km/8hrs)

After Breakfast, we will check out from hotel and we will take you to sightseeing of the valley. This beautiful valley is surrounded hills covered with fruit orchards. After that, we will start our journey towards Tawang. It is perched on a vast slope of Himalayan mountainside. Day 05 : Around Tawang Sightseeing (100Km/8hrs)

After breakfast, start your day with breathtaking view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the valley offer a spectacular view. Next move on to Bum La Pass, about 37km away from Tawang, which is the indo-china border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level. On your way back stop by heart lake, PTSO lake, Naghula lake, this will surely make your day (Please note that sightseeing of these places would require you to hire a local taxi and hence it is optional. Also, Bum La Pass visit is subjected to road clearance by Indian Army). After this return to your hotel for comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.

Day 06 : Tawang Sightseeing (50Km/7hrs)

After breakfast we will go for sightseeing in and around Tawang. We will visit most of the sightseeing spots in Tawang including, Craft Centre, Tawang War Memorial (light and sound show in the evening), Urgelling Monastery – the birth place of Sixth Dalai Lama, other nunneries or oldest Ani gompas and finally dominating the skyline, like a mighty medieval fortress is the massive three hundred year old Tawang Monastery – the second largest Buddhist monastery in the world. We will take you to a light and sound show, displaying the pride and valor of Indian Army. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Day 07 : Tawang to Bomdila (190Km/8hrs)

After breakfast, we will take you straight to Bomdila. After reaching there, we will take you out for sightseeing of the local places in Bomdila. The Buddhist Monasteries, Craft center are some places you would like to visit. In the evening you enjoy local market. Afterwards return to your hotel for the overnight stay in Bomdila.

Day 08 : Bomdila to Guwahati, Airport Drop (350Km/8hrs)

Early in the morning (around 6:30 to 7:00 am), we will depart for Guwahati. After reaching there, we will drop you by Guwahati Airport in the evening, with the sweet memories of the trip with Paradise Northeast (Kaziranga Travels).
