Day 01 : Places: Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Nameri (240km/5hrs). Stay: Nameri.
Upon arrival at Guwahati airport or railway station, our representative will receive you and guide you to a designated vehicle. Board the vehicle, you will be transferred to Nameri (200Km/5hr). After reaching Nameri, check in at hotel for your overnight stay.
Day 02 :Places: Nameri to Dirang (160Km/6hrs). Stay: Dirang.
Early morning we will take you to Nameri National Park. Go bird watching and spot them in their vicinity, with more than 300 species of birds which also shelters rare and endangered “White Winged Wood Duck” also catch tiger in action as Nameri tiger reserve is under Project Tiger, it also homes wide verity of reptiles, fishes and mammals. Post breakfast, for adventure seekers and offbeat travellers go tracking and raft down Jia Borali River (smooth water rafting). After lunch will drive uphill to Dirang, entering Arunachal Pradesh “the land of raising sun”. The place greets you with breathtaking valleys, misty rivers and stunning waterfall. After this enjoyable and memorable tour, return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 03 : Places: Dirang to Tawang (145Km/7hrs). Stay: Tawang.
Post breakfast, explore Dirang small hill station in west Kameng district. Its spectacular landscape and beauteous nature will surely please your eyes and comfort your body and soul. We will visit Kalachakra Gompa also refered as Dirang Monastery and perceive the serene land. Witness kiwi orchids, then to Dirang Dzong (fort) which is about 150 years old and have an excellent view of the surrounding. Later proceed to Tawang, with mountain curve the river Kameng flow along. Witness Sela Pass, world second highest motor able road, with bright coloured flags fluttering all around at an altitude of 13,700ft. Know about Jaswant Garh memorial-cum-mandir. Enjoy spectacular Nuranang Fall (Bong Bong Fall), 100m height. After this pulsating and soul-stirring journey have a warm and comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 04 : Places: Tawang Sightseeing (70km/6hrs). Stay: Tawang.
Post breakfast have a holly visit to Tawang Monastery (Galden Namgyal Lhatse), Asia’s second largest and India’s largest Buddhist Monastery which was build about 350 years ago in 17thCentury. Explore age old artefacts related to Tawang Monastery and Mompa people of Tawang. Get a picturesque view of Tawang township in the heart of sky-piercing mountains. Then we move on to The Tawang War Memorial, a beautiful stupa build in memory of the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in 1962 Sino-Indian war. Take home local carpet woven by local ladies, Mompa traditional mask as a token of memory from Craft Centre Emporium. In the evening enjoy light and sound show. After this return to your hotel for overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 05 : Places: Around Tawang Sightseeing (150km/7hrs). Stay: Tawang.
Post breakfast, start your day with breathtaking view of Shonga-tser Lake (Madhuri Lake), surrounded by snow-capped mountains and the valley offer a spectacular view. Next move on to Bum La Pass about 37km away from Tawang, it is the indo-china border that lies at 15,200 ft above sea level. On your way back stop by heart lake, PTSO lake, Naghula lake, which will surely make your day. After this return to your hotel for comfortable overnight stay in Tawang.
Day 06 : Places: Tawang to Bomdila (185Km/8hrs). Stay: Bomdila.
From Nameri, we will take you to Eaglenest bird sanctuary on this day. Eaglenest is a beautiful hilly place in Arunachal Pradesh. It is situated around 50 kilometers away from Bomdila town, and is the heart of Himalayan birding in northeast India. Surrounded by lush grasslands and dense forest, it is situated in the Himalayan foothills. It is also identified as important bird area. The stay will be at Lama Camp.
Day 07 : Places: Bomdila to Itanagar (320Km/10hrs). Stay: Itanagar.
After checking out early in the morning, we will take you to Itanagar, which is the capital of the state of Arunachal. It is a pleasant 10 hrs ride from Bomdila. During the journey to Itanagar, we will take you to the possible sightseeing spots in the route. The Nyishi tribes of Arunachal Pradesh lives in these parts of the stae. Check in to the hotel in the evening. Overnight in Itanagar.
Day 08 : Places: Itanagar to Ziro (130Km/7hrs). Stay: Ziro.
On this day, after having breakfast, we will leave for Ziro through the beautiful hilly roads. On the way pay a visit to Tribal Nyishi village, where you will get to see their unique bamboo architectures. Ziro is located 5754 feet above the sea level, and it is the headquarter of the Lower Sabunsiri district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is a highland surrounded by Apatani tribal villages of Diibo, Hija, Bulla, Hari and Hong. The uniqueness of Apatani tribe is the tattoos on women & man, and nose rings worn by women. Stay overnight at hotel in Ziro.
Day 09 : Places: Ziro sightseeing (50kms/6hr). Stay: Ziro
After breakfast, we will set out to explore the beautiful landscapes and tribes of Ziro. The Apatinis are non-nomadic tribes. They are all settled in and around Ziro valley. The prime livelihood of this tribe is cultivation in wet lands. This tribe is very different from the other tribes of Arunachal. They also used to practice a culture of facial tattoos. The stay will be at the same hotel in Ziro.
Day 10 : Places: Ziro to Daporijo (165Km/7hrs). Stay: Daporijo.
From Ziro we will take you next to Dporijo, which is the headquarters of Upper Subansiri district in Arunachal Pradesh. It’s a hilly place surrounded by green mountains. The Subansiri River also flows by this area. After reaching there, we will explore the local area. The Tagin, Galo and Nyishi tribes belong to this area. We will stay at this place.
Day 11 : Places: Daporijo to Aalo/Along (170Km/7hrs). Stay: Aalong/Aalo
From there we will take you to Along on the next day. Along or Aalo is the headquarters of West Siang district. It is a place for cultural sightseeing of Arunachal Pradesh. It hosts festivals namely the Mopin and the Yomgo River Festival in the month of April and January respectively. These festivals are the main tourists attraction for Along.
Day 12 : Places: Aalo to Mechuka (200Kms/6hrs). Stay: Mechuka.
After breakfast, we will head towards north-western direction to Mechuka valley. It is a mesmerizing valley in the Himalayan foothills, situated at an elevation of around 6000 feet above the sea level. The river Yargyapchu (aka Siyom) flows in the valley of Menchukha. Our stay will be at Mechuka.
Day 13 : Places: Mechuka sightseeing (50kms/6hrs). Stay: Mechuka
After breakfast, we will start our local sightseeing of Mechuka. Mechuka is primarily home to the Memba and Ramo (Adi) tribes. We will visit the local monastery situated in the town. We will also take you for short trekking and nearby beautiful spots by the Siyom river. After a complete day of enjoying breathtaking landscapes, we will return to our hotel for the night stay.
Day 14 : Places: Mechuka to Along/Aalo (180Km/8hrs). Stay: Along/Aalo.
After breakfast, we will move towards Aalo (aka Along). Aalo or Along is situated on the bank of Siang River at altitude of 1020 ft. It is a beautiful valley with picturesque landscapes. Aalo is the land of Galo and Adi tribe. The Adi tribe is the most inhabited tribe of Arunchal Pradesh. Overnight at
Day 15 : Places: Aalo to Dibrugarh, Airport Drop. (220kms/7hrs).
After breakfast, we will start towards Dibrugarh. After reaching Dibrugarh in the evening, we will drop you at the airport in accordance to your departure time.
